Terms & Conditions

By utilizing the web design, hosting, or domain registration services provided by Aligarh Web Solutions, you hereby agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Service Contract. Please read them carefully before submitting any project information to us.

1. Web Design & Development Services

Aligarh Web Solutions provides custom web design services as an independent offering. Our service parameters are subject to the agreed-upon project scope.

• The customer is obligated to fulfill final payment once it is agreed that the service rendered is satisfactory and complete based on the initial scope.
• Should the customer have a discrepancy with the service rendered or require amendments, these must be brought to our attention no later than 48 hours after the completion of the rendered service.
• Promotional or special package rates require a minimum one-year service commitment. Early termination of these packages will result in the standard (non-discounted) service charges becoming immediately payable.

2. Domain Registration & Hosting Services

We provide hosting facilities and domain registrations via affiliated third-party registrars and servers.

• Domain Ownership: Domains are registered on behalf of the customer and are owned by the customer. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of registration details.
• Data Backup: While we maintain secure servers, the customer is ultimately responsible for independent backups of their web data and emails.
• Unlimited Bandwidth Policy: "Unlimited" implies data transfer is unmetered so long as it remains within reasonable expectations for a standard business website (considered as roughly 3 Gigabytes monthly). Sites acting as file-download archives or utilizing excessive system resources (over 10%) are subject to warning or suspension.

3. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Aligarh Web Solutions web services may only be used for lawful purposes. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Hosting copyrighted material without authorization, software cracks, or illegal downloads.
• Hosting material deemed legally threatening, obscene, or of an adult/pornographic nature.
• Sending unsolicited commercial email (SPAM) or participating in denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.
• Penalties: Flagrant disregard for this policy (such as spamming or unauthorized server exploitation) will subject the customer to a penalty fine of ₹5,000.00 and immediate account suspension.

4. Payment Terms & Billing

The customer agrees to pay all charges relating to their account according to the agreed-upon pricing structure.

• Invoices must be settled by the due date. Any discrepancies must be queried formally within 15 days of the invoice date.
• Late Payments: A service charge of ₹250.00 will be assessed on late payments for each month the invoice remains outstanding.
• Returned Cheques: A fee of ₹500.00 will be charged for any returned cheques or failed direct debits.
• The customer is liable for all collection agency or attorney fees if Aligarh Web Solutions must resort to legal methods to collect outstanding debts.

5. Termination & Suspension

Customers may terminate their service by providing written notice at least 30 days in advance. Termination does not relieve the customer of outstanding financial liabilities.

• Aligarh Web Solutions reserves the right to disconnect service for payment defaults. A reconnection fee of ₹500.00 will be required to restore suspended services.
• Upon termination, if a domain was managed by us, it will be transferred to the customer’s direct management. We will no longer monitor its expiration. Website files will be removed from our servers upon termination.

6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

Aligarh Web Solutions assumes no responsibility for unauthorized access ("hacking") to client websites, or for data loss resulting from customer negligence or lost passwords.

• Our services are subject to interruptions beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, power failures, or infrastructure disruptions.
• Neither Aligarh Web Solutions, its directors, nor employees shall be liable for direct, indirect, or consequential loss (including lost profits or corrupted data) arising from the use of our services.
