Despite their sterling academic reputation and modern physical laboratories, the school's digital presence had fallen significantly behind. Their previous website was an outdated static template built nearly a decade ago, lacking mobile responsiveness, search engine visibility, and any dynamic interactivity. In early 2024, the school management board approached Aligarh Web Solutions with a clear mandate: build a comprehensive digital campus that reflects their institutional prestige, eliminates administrative counter congestion during peak admission cycles, and provides parents with effortless, real-time access to school notices, academic syllabi, and fee schedules.

During our preliminary discovery workshops with Principal Ahmed and the school administrative staff, we identified several critical operational and technical hurdles that hindered school-parent collaboration:

Institutional Color Harmony & Typography

We established a dignified visual identity utilizing deep collegiate forest green (#1a4d1e) as the dominant primary hue, paired with slate neutrals and warm amber accents (#f59e0b). Forest green evokes vitality, learning, and tradition, establishing immediate trust. We paired Syne for authoritative display headers with DM Sans for body typography, calibrated at an accessible 16px baseline with generous 1.7 line height to ensure effortless readability for parents and grandparents alike.

Thumb-Friendly Mobile Architecture

Recognizing the predominantly mobile user demographic, we implemented an ergonomic, thumb-first layout. The four most critical parent user journeys—Online Admission Enquiry, Latest Circulars, Fee Structure, and Bus Routes—were placed into high-visibility quick-access cards immediately beneath the mobile hero section. The primary navigation includes a sticky, high-contrast "Admissions 2025–26" action button that remains accessible across all sub-pages.

We replaced the cumbersome physical application booklet with a responsive digital enquiry form. Built with client-side input validation and instant mobile number formatting, the form enables parents to submit student details, preferred grade levels, and contact information in under 90 seconds.
